STEP ONE | Surface Preparation:

We conduct a comprehensive cleaning to eliminate all dirt, oil, and debris from the garage floor. This is followed by mechanical grinding with specially designed diamond tools to abrade the surface and remove coatings and other contaminants.

During the surface preparation process, a HEPA dust-free vacuum system circulates the air, ensuring a clean and safe work environment. After completing crack repairs, we repeat this process to thoroughly prepare the surface for the next stage.

STEP TWO | Application of Moisture Vapor Barrier (Optional):

We apply an MVB Primer Base Coat, using a 100% solid epoxy moisture vapor barrier if needed, depending on the substrate. This optional step enhances the system's overall performance and longevity.

STEP THREE | Application of NanoX Polyaspartic Pigmented 85 Solids Base Coat

Apply a NanoX Polyaspartic base coat 10-12 MILS DFT5 in the customer’s desired color, ensuring an even and consistent application. This pigmented base coat provides a strong foundation, enhancing both the vibrancy and durability of the floor.

STEP FOUR | Full Broadcast of Color Flakes:

Broadcast the chosen color flakes into the base coat resin for 100% coverage, ensuring a thick, robust surface. This step not only maximizes visual appeal but also enhances durability by providing complete flake coverage across the entire floor. Both our Cove Base and Tru Non-Slip upgrade options are included with this system as well!

STEP FIVE | Application of our ALUMx HIGH WEAR ADDITIVE:

AlumX High Wear Additive is a superfine aluminum oxide that, when mixed into coatings like Poly85, really boosts durability, slip resistance, and lifespan. It makes surfaces tougher, more wear-resistant, and safer by improving traction, especially in busy or wet spots like garages and commercial floors.

STEP SIX | Application of 100% Solids NanoX Polyaspartic Topcoat Gloss:

We apply a topcoat of 100% solids NanoX Polyaspartic at 10-12 MILS DFT, incorporating a reinforced polycarbonate non-slip additive for enhanced safety and durability. We ensure an even application throughout to achieve a seamless, protective finish that not only looks flawless but also offers long-lasting resilience.

STEP SEVEN | Curing Time, Quality Check, and Final Inspection:

Allow the floor to cure for 6 hours before item placement, 16 hours for foot traffic, and 24 hours for vehicular traffic to ensure optimal durability. Conduct a thorough inspection to meet quality standards, addressing any necessary touch-ups for a flawless finish.

• Satin or Matte Finish Top Coat: Add a satin or matte finish for $0.75 per square foot, which extends the curing process by 2 days.

• Custom Chip Color: Choose a custom chip color for $0.35 per square foot.

• Expansion Joint Filling: Fill expansion joints for $8.00 per linear foot.

• Moisture Vapor Primer: A moisture vapor primer is available for an extra $1.00 per square foot.
