Tru-Industrial X-Chip Epoxy and Polyaspartic Floor Project for A Smart 4th Quarter Investment
For the Stingray Chevrolet project, we installed our Tru-Industrial X-Chip Epoxy and Polyaspartic system, specially designed to meet the demands of a busy automotive body shop. This high-performance floor not only enhances safety and durability but also offers a valuable 4th quarter tax deduction, making it a smart investment for any business looking to improve both functionality and financial efficiency.
Our process began with a professional dust-free grinding, which ensured the concrete was perfectly prepared for optimal coating adhesion. We then filled the expansion joints with a premium joint filler and 40F sand, creating a reinforced surface capable of handling heavy vehicle traffic. This step is essential to ensure the longevity and resilience of the floor under demanding conditions.
The Tru-Industrial X-Chip system is built on a three-layer application designed for maximum durability. A 100% Solid Moisture Blok Epoxy with decorative flakes formed the moisture-resistant base coat, protecting against spills and water damage. The second layer, a Slow Cure Epoxy pigmented to a sleek platinum gray, adds chemical resistance and strength, while the final topcoat—a high-wear Polyaspartic 85 with coarse non-slip polycarbonate and our AlumX Highwear Additive—provides slip resistance, UV stability, and a polished finish.
