Watch and Learn Large Epoxy Garage Floor Installation
Updated: Jan 8
Tru-Grit Epoxy Flooring recently completed a large epoxy garage flooring installation in Sebastian, Florida, showcasing our expertise in transforming substantial spaces. This project involved a massive 2,600 square feet garage floor. The existing rain slab needed extensive preparation, requiring the removal of over 37 bags of sand and concrete to ensure a clean, stable base for our coatings. To tackle moisture control, we first applied two layers of our 100% Solids Tru Moisture Block vapor barrier epoxy in a classic gray. Following that, we added a custom flake blend broadcasted into the coating, giving the floor a unique and durable finish.
For added protection and durability, we topped off the floor with two coats of our NanoX Polyaspartic. This high-performance finish includes aluminum oxide and a non-slip polycarbonate additive, making the floor safe and resilient, even in high-traffic or humid environments. Our NanoX Polyaspartic coating not only enhances the floor's aesthetic appeal but also ensures longevity with its hard-wearing, low-maintenance surface that’s easy to clean.
