When we say our floors are built to last, we mean it—and every now and then, we get to prove it in a big way.

Five years ago, Tru-Grit Epoxy Flooring installed a high-performance Polyaspartic and Epoxy system at White Oak BBQ Supply & Mercantile in Bartow, Florida. If you’ve ever stepped inside, you know this isn’t a quiet little shop. It’s a BBQ lover’s dream—packed with commercial-grade smokers, massive grills (some weighing up to 600 pounds), and heavy-duty equipment that gets rolled, moved, and fired up daily.
That kind of environment is no joke for a floor. Between the extreme heat, the constant pressure from metal wheels, and everyday customer foot traffic, this project has faced everything we design our coatings to withstand. And we’re happy to report—it’s still going strong. Click here to learn more about our commerical flooring!

Built for the Long Haul
What makes this floor so durable? It’s powered by our custom-built coating system, engineered specifically for high-demand commercial spaces. Every Tru-Grit system includes Tru AlumX, our proprietary aluminum oxide additive that increases abrasion resistance, reduces glare, and enhances traction without sacrificing appearance.
The result? A surface that holds up under heavy use without flaking, peeling, or showing its age—even five years later.
Supporting Local Business, Supporting Longevity
White Oak BBQ Supply isn’t just a customer—it’s a family-run business with a mission we admire. They’re passionate about helping people make unforgettable meals and bring friends and families together through BBQ. We’re proud that our floor contributes to that experience and supports a space where community and quality come first.
