A HEPA dust-free vacuum captures dust and debris. Next, we inspect and fill cracks with high-quality repair materials, ensuring a smooth, stable surface. Proper preparation enhances adhesion, safety, and the coating's longevity.

STEP TWO | 100% Solids Hydrophobic Epoxy Base Coat:

The initial application involves the Moisture Vapor Barrier, a 100% solids hydrophobic epoxy. This layer is essential for preventing moisture-related problems and establishing a stable foundation for the subsequent layers. It is important to allow the Moisture Vapor Barrier to fully cure to ensure a robust base for the following coatings.

STEP THREE | Tru Alpha NanoX Polyaspartic Base Coat:

Apply the pigmented Tru Alpha NanoX Polyaspartic Base Coat with the customer’s chosen chip blend. This coat adds both aesthetic appeal and protective strength.

STEP FOUR | Full Broadcast of Color Flakes:

Broadcast the chosen color flakes into the base coat resin for 100% coverage, ensuring a thick, robust surface. This step not only maximizes visual appeal but also enhances durability by providing complete flake coverage across the entire pool deck!

STEP FIVE | NanoX Polyaspartic Clear Topcoat:

This topcoat with our a Non-Slip Additive and the AlumX High Wear Additive is specially formulated to enhance the durability, slip resistance, and overall strength of the surface. The careful application of this topcoat ensures that the pool deck not only looks great but also performs exceptionally well under regular use.

STEP SIX | Final Inspection and Curing Time:

After allowing the topcoat to cure thoroughly, which ensures a robust and slip-resistant finish, a comprehensive final inspection is conducted to verify that the coating is even, smooth, and meets quality standards. Any necessary touch-ups are performed before the project is considered complete. The pool deck will be ready for foot traffic the day after the topcoat has fully cured, minimizing downtime for the customer.
