Installation Steps Explained:

STEP ONE | Surface Preparation

Remove all dirt, oil, and debris from the garage floor with a thorough cleaning, followed by mechanical grinding using specially designed diamonds to abrade the surface and eliminate coatings and other contaminants. Throughout the surface preparation process, a HEPA dust-free vacuum system circulates the air, ensuring a clean and safe work environment. After we do our crack repair, we will do this process again to really ensure the surface is prepaired for the next step.

STEP TWO | Application of NanoX Tru Alpha Polyaspartic Base Coat

Apply a NanoX Polyaspartic base coat 10-12 MILS DFT5 in the customer’s desired color, ensuring an even and consistent application. This pigmented base coat provides a strong foundation, enhancing both the vibrancy and durability of the floor.

STEP THREE | Broadcasting Medium Concentration of Color Flakes:

Broadcast the chosen color flakes into the base coat resin with a medium concentration coverage, ensuring a thick, robust surface. This step not only maximizes visual appeal but also enhances durability by providing complete flake coverage across the entire floor. Both of our Cove Base and Tru Non-Slip upgrade options are included with this system as well!

STEP FOUR | Application of Tru Alpha NanoX Clear Coat with Non-Slip Additive:

Apply a topcoat of 100% solids NanoX Polyaspartic of 10-12 MILS DFT, incorporating a reinforced polycarbonate non-slip additive for enhanced safety and durability. Ensure an even application throughout to achieve a seamless, protective finish that not only looks flawless but also provides long-lasting resilience.

STEP FIVE |Curing Time, Quality Check and Final Inspection:

Allow the floor to cure for 6 hours before permitting item placement, 16 hours for foot traffic, and 24 hours before allowing vehicular traffic. This ensures that the coating has fully set and hardened, providing optimal durability and performance.

Conduct a thorough inspection of the finished floor to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to specifications. Address any touch-ups or corrections as needed to ensure the final result is flawless and up to standard.

Potential Add-Ons

• Apron: Coating the apron with Sherwin-Williams solvent acrylic. The material cost will be calculated at 1 gallon x 2.5, which will be the charge to the customer.

• Satin or Matte Finish Top Coat: Add a satin or matte finish for $0.75 per square foot, which will extend the curing process by an additional 2 days.

• Custom Chip Color: Choose a custom chip color for $0.35 per square foot.

• Expansion Joint Filling: Fill expansion joints for $8.00 per linear foot.
